Title: Debug Key in UQM Post by: Anthony on May 08, 2010, 03:32:56 am I remember a few years ago, I read some instructions and I added something to UQM 0.5.0 so that when I pressed F4, the flagship would be instantly upgraded and the spheres of influence would be revealed. This wasn't intended for cheating as much as a way of testing a UQM build and any modifications.
I remember editing keys.cfg and adding the following line: Code: Debug: key F4 I've tried it with 0.6.2 and I haven't been able to do this. I even copied the latest from SVN and copied over the exe files and content. Does anyone else remember anything like this? Thanks, - Anthony Title: Re: Debug Key in UQM Post by: Angelfish on May 08, 2010, 05:07:03 pm I think you need to compile a debug version of UQM for that to work ;).
Title: Re: Debug Key in UQM Post by: Novus on May 10, 2010, 11:48:48 am Key definitions in UQM SVN work differently, since the key configuration system was rewritten. As far as I can tell, you can't edit the menu keys in the configuration file any more/yet. However, you can edit content/menu.key to add the debug feature; add a (system utility) key line as follows:
Code: debug.1 = STRING:key F4 Title: Re: Debug Key in UQM Post by: meep-eep on May 11, 2010, 06:59:56 pm With the version from Subversion, you can create a file "override.cfg" in your config directory, and put Novus' line there.
