Title: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Psyckosama on October 17, 2010, 10:29:45 am Is there any way to get the Ilwrath away from Procyon that doesn't lead to the extinction of the Thraddash?
I kinda like the big, thick, Rhino people... I kinda like the big, thick, Rhino people... Nope (click to show/hide) EDIT: Although... I do seem to remember the Ilwrath not being there one time when I went to Procyon. Maybe I just don't remember correctly. Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Draxas on October 18, 2010, 06:23:32 am The Ilwrath actually don't appear at Procyon until you have the Sun Device, presumably so that you can ask the Chenjesu for advice before freeing them during the game without having to deal with the Ilwrath fleet yet.
Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Psyckosama on October 18, 2010, 07:26:45 am Damn, sounds like something to mod in...
Too bad you can't tell the Ilwrath to go after the Kohr-Ah... If there's two groups that deserve each other, its them... Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: chenjesuwizard on October 18, 2010, 06:58:25 pm I would love it if you could send the Thraddash, Supox, Utwig and Ilwrath to all attack the Kohr-Ah at the same time.

Only Ilwrath make worthy sacrifices to Dogar and Kazon! Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Alvarin on October 18, 2010, 10:38:38 pm How about an option to make them all commit suicide? They seem fanatical and masochistic enough. Only Ilwrath make worthy sacrifices to Dogar and Kazon! Not really - they are based on Earth insects, that just don't have pain receptors. Without pain and much suffering they are not the best sacrifice for the Horrific Duo. Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: storyyeller on October 19, 2010, 06:53:55 am If they don't have pain receptors, why do they mutilate themselves?
Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Admiral Zeratul on October 20, 2010, 12:29:40 am Most likely, it's because the Umgah disguised as Dogar and Kazon told them to. Good joke! Har har!

Ordering them to exterminate the Umgah would be another good idea. The Umgah are ANNOYING!!!!! Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Psyckosama on October 20, 2010, 05:04:41 am Oh, now here would be an order... use it to tell them to obey the captain as he is the chosen of Dogar and Kazon... ;D
Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Dabir on October 21, 2010, 12:25:51 am Yuubuu mean, inspiring the Warship of the Dill-Rats wasn't enough? Dwee have ourselves an ambitious one here.
Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: JudgeYohance on October 21, 2010, 06:00:59 am I want an option to force them all to dance to Cotton Eye Joe. Nothing is more painful or humiliating then to be forced to dance to that :)
Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Admiral Zeratul on October 22, 2010, 11:49:10 pm On the contrary, it wouldn't be painful or humiliating at all for the Ilwrath, whatever that thing you mentioned is. They subject themselves to any manner of torment the Deific Duo specify without second thought nor the awareness that they're really humiliating themselves.
Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Psyckosama on October 23, 2010, 11:07:23 am So ordering them to kill themselves or to follow a human into battle might just work...
I bet with some creative copy/pastea you could make it almost seamless. Would be funny to show the reaction of the Commander when the Ilwrath send ships and captains. Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: storyyeller on November 06, 2010, 06:36:55 am I don't think that the Illwrath would ever join the alliance, no matter how much trickery you attempted.
How about an option to make them go after the Arilou? Those smug bastards deserve it, Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Admiral Zeratul on November 09, 2010, 04:12:05 am Oh, you mean the Empire of Zelnick? ;D
Even if it did work, the Ilwrath would not stay part of it for long. The Captain's ways are not nearly cruel and violent enough to satisfy Dogar and Kazon. Although, if you sold enough of your crew into Druuge slavery... That would be funny, but it would probably be a simple matter for them to fall back into quasispace. The Arilou would make for very difficult prey. Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Wolframm on November 14, 2010, 07:20:40 pm Yeah, it would be a better idea if you send Ilwrath to attack the Druuge instead. The Druuge definitely deserved extermination thanks to their immorality.
Also, I don't understand why and how are both Thraddash and Ilwrath exterminated in their conflict. See for yourself in SuperMelee. Avenger can't even get close to Torch becouse of remarkable Reeunk afterburner. Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Alvarin on November 14, 2010, 09:00:47 pm Sending the Ilwrath towards the Druuge would cause them to pass through SOI of way too many unrelated species.
Title: Re: The Fate of the Thraddash Post by: Draxas on November 15, 2010, 04:10:22 pm Besides, the Ilwrath don't know about the Druuge. It's not like Zelnick actually tells them to go kill the Thraddash, he just says "seek new prey" and they decide that the Thraddash are the best sport themselves.
