Title: Help with Audacity Post by: ErekLich on February 07, 2003, 03:32:31 am Hello all,
I am attempting to convert the conversation .ogg files to .wav files so I can use them as sound effects. The problem occurs when I try to import the ogg, Audacity crashes! I get a system message from XP saying "Audacity has enountered a problem and needs to close". Can anyone help me on this? Title: Re: Help with Audacity Post by: Nic. on February 07, 2003, 04:17:50 am The Audacity forums are probably a better place to ask about Audacity bugs. :)
If you've got WinAmp, you can select the "DiskWriter" plug-in as your output plug-in and simply hit Play, and it will spit out a WAV file, just like that. Zinf and ogg123 also have this ability, if I recall. Title: Re: Help with Audacity Post by: ErekLich on February 07, 2003, 04:40:12 am I figured you'd be the one to answer, Nic...
I looked for the forums and noticed that my version of Audacity is outdated anyway! Luckily for me, upgrading fixed my problem. Thanks! |
