His doctoral dissertation, "The Function of Superfluous Eyestalks in Species that have a Large, Complex Central Eye" set the Melnorme and VUX scientific community ablaze with its.. insight (badump). It doesn't really look as if it is smoking a pipe but rather there is a pipe like object growing out of its face. I don't see any smoke so it must be for show. It does seem to attach to his teeth, in 8 bit glory.. he might have an upturned shovel tusk, for digging up delicious roots or fending off rival professors when getting coffee or graduate students?

Because it seems the original image is in fewer colors than 8 million. Heck, it seems like it's in monochrome. Or do you mean the word size of the console it's on? because that in many cases would be 16-bit, not 8-bit. MS-DOS, probably the most important platform Star Control was for, ran on 16-bit processors, not 8-bit ones. |
