Title: How do you analyze the sound files?
Post by: dathinvaderzim on October 10, 2011, 11:39:41 pm
So I found the animation reels, that's all good, but what about the sound files? They seem to be either AU or SND files and I don't have anything to play them and nothing seems to be able to play them.

No they're not. All sound effects, voice, and 3DO remixes are in the content pack(s) as Ogg Vorbis (extension .ogg), original PC music is MODs (extension .mod).

Ok, so the question still remains: How do I play and use those?

Um... with a media player? They're standard sound formats.

For Ogg Vorbis, VLC will do fine, for MOD there's a whole bunch of assorted players/trackers you could use, try googling 'MOD player'.
