Title: You can name fleets! Post by: Dave Morse on February 19, 2003, 09:19:33 am This may fall under your "well duh" category, but if in super-melee you use the arrow keys to highlight the name of your fleet, then press return, you can enter a new fleet name. It only took me 2 months of daily play to figure this out. :-[

Title: Re: You can name fleets! Post by: Omni-Sama on February 20, 2003, 01:27:44 am Well duuuuuuuh. ::)
I miss the clever names of the teams that came with the original SC2 PC game. I think there were names like "Fred's Crew" or something like that, obviously a preferred battle group for his holiness, or just a group of guys given that name for fun. I enjoy making new, unique battle fleets in SC2... and I think giving them names is one of the most gratifying parts in that whole process. I especially love facing my Mizfits against the Behemoth Zenith... Hey, now that I think about it... any really clever battle fleets anyone wants to share with us? This might be a cool direction for this "duh"-filled post. Title: Re: You can name fleets! Ford's Fighters Leyland's Lashers The Gregorizers 200 Zenith of the Behemoths Little Dudes with Attitudes I think that was the total of the "special" teams from the original game :P Title: Re: You can name fleets! Post by: Death 999 on February 22, 2003, 12:01:57 am How do you delete fleets?
I accidentally saved an experimental fleet with a stupid name ("balanced fleet #2") Title: Re: You can name fleets! Post by: Novus on February 23, 2003, 09:20:47 pm Quote How do you delete fleets? Just delete the file in which the fleet is saved. It should be called fleet name.mle. The fleet files are stored in different places on different systems. On my Linux installation, the fleets are in ~/.uqm/teams/.I accidentally saved an experimental fleet with a stupid name ("balanced fleet #2") Title: Re: You can name fleets!
