Title: Origin of the Spathi name Post by: Valos Cor on June 24, 2012, 09:28:58 pm I find out σπαθί is Greek for sword, pronounced Spathi. I read a little about how other races' names were inspired by Greek.
I'm fairly certain this is intentional, and it is quite ironic, the meaning of Spathi, ;D Title: Re: Origin of the Spathi name Post by: meep-eep on June 24, 2012, 11:29:33 pm I'm betting on it being accidental. I mean, why "sword"? For ironic purposes there would be much better words. Besides, the Spathi are pretty good fighters, when pressed.
