Redhat 8.0, "dynamic" install:

Initializing SDL (OpenGL).
SDL driver used: x11
SDL initialized.
Initializing Screen.
Set the resolution to: 640x480x16
OpenGL renderer: GeForce 256/AGP/3DNOW! version: 1.4.0 NVIDIA 41.91
Initializing SDL audio subsystem.
SDL audio subsystem initialized.
Initializing MixSDL mixer.
MixSDL using driver 'SDL_audio'
MixSDL Mixer initialized.
   opened esd at 44100 Hz 16 bit stereo, 2048 samples audio buffer
Initializing sound decoders.
Sound decoders initialized.
0 joysticks were found.
Kernel failed to load!

What did I do wrong?

Does anyone have any suggestions?  AFAIK I have all the latest libraries installed.

Can you build from source?  This may help.

Unfortunately, we do not  yet  know what  is wrong.  But we are workinng  on it.
