Title: Help! Keyboard with 0.2 isn't working! Post by: Omni-Sama on March 02, 2003, 01:30:09 am Well, I've just downloaded the UDM 0.2 installer and let it do all its fancy installing mumbo-jumbo into my old UQM 0.1 directory. However, when all was said and done and I went to play the game, the keyboard didn't work.
Actually, nothing happened. I tried pressing every key I could find (hehe, there's a lot of them if ya don't know...) and even editing the starcon.key file, but to no avail. I had the same problem with the unofficial CVS build... I didn't think this strange problem would be in the 0.2 alpha, since the 0.1 UQM ran perfectly for me... any ideas? Title: Re: Help! When you are upgrading from 0.1, make sure that you check "upgrade" from the pulldown menu in the installation. If you don't, the installer won't download and install needed data files. Try it. Or else try a clean install by downloading everything.

The upgrade thing was the good idea, thanks, it works perfectly now. I got to go, I should blast two or three starsystems to get rid of my dishonourous shame :) |
