What would you do if you had a million credits?  ...  or a million resource units, whatever.  This is obviously a topic that's meant to be fun, not serious.  Try to be creative and funny if at all possible.   ;D

If I had a million credits, I'd definately buy my own Sa-Matra and wreak havoc on the peaceful aliens of the universe.  Would you expect anything less from a megalomaniacal Pik?  (Or Fot, or which ever one you think the dude in the back is... hehe.  :P )

I would build 9,000 penetrators. YEEHAW!

Actually as a thought I wouldn't even want to know why the bridge turns purple...

I'd buy that 2418-B explorer probe from the Melnorme....wasn't it 10,000 Creedots?

No more Ur-Quan/Kohr-Ah problems.  Of course, the replication behavior is at 999  ;D

You realise, of course, that the "MOVE OFF" command will never be executed due to the scheduler interrupting at the end of "CLOSE". With that replication priority, the next activity will definitely be "BREAK TARGET INTO COMPONENT MATERIALS". Robotic army of death, indeed. ;-)

ok, I would first find out why the Melnorme's bridge turns purple, then I would blackmail them by threatening to tell other races and find out many of their secrets and get tons of their RUs. Basically I would but out the Melnorme.

I'd make a cruise ship.Yuo know, assuming I could get the Chmmr to build me a really large Precursor style ship, I'd fit it with crew pods, leisure pods, luxury pods, and supply pods filled with enough posh food to keep us fed for a decade or so. Who would I bring with me? well, all you guys to start with, some other friends of mine, and quite a few syreen and Umgah (both fun, but in different ways). After that I'd fit it with a few weapons for self-defence, and some mega-efficient fueltanks. And then? I'd go crusising around the galaxy, visiting famous planets and beatiful places.  I could spend a decade in this quadrant alone...

Hey, it's only been one day...  give it time, compadré!  You'll see!   :P

I'd definately have to buy myself a planet, turn it into a giant day spa, and bring lots of beautiful Syreen down to the surface.  The rest, as they say, is too hot for TV...   8)

Problem with syreen is their song. If you want to have a brain left after a little while, it's a problem.

I know, I bought the max number of penetrators with my million credits. By the way, are these RUs or bio credits???

The song only functions with the ship considering it burns up quite a bit of energy. There's probably some amplification thingy needed to make it work. The blue bikini girls themselves are relatively harmless.

Continuing my non-sensical and pointless post I just made elsewhere...

I'd buy about 500,000 perfect stones.  I'd guess it'd take about 2 credits per stone to pay someone to find the ones that are not too heavy, not too light -- just the right size for throwing at monsters.  And someone has to paint them aqua, mauve or magenta.

Some people have been asking me lately... "Where did I get all of these credits/RUs all of a sudden?  Why should I believe you that I've now got a million credits...?"

There a few possible solutions:
1. You've just won the Intergalactic Lottery, the first non-Pkunk or Syreen to guess the numbers.
2. Your rich, card-carrying uncle has passed away and you have inherited his credits/RUs.
3. You've won the Miss Galaxy competition, the first non-Syreen to do so.
4. You sold an expensive, worthless artifact to a gullible species, claiming it could solve all their problems.
5. Just believe me on this one, okay?  It's easier that way.

Purchase a fleet of ten thousand similar starships. Or as many as I could afford, anyways.



Perhaps you found a way to create Rainbow Worlds. I'd always guessed that a Melnorme's (Mael-Num's?) inclination towards colors was because of their race's reliance on ocular perception. I'd thought that perhaps their species nourishes themselves through starlight, and that is why they are always found at Supergiant stars. Perhaps they'd lost almost all sensitivity to any senses other than sight, and their sense of vision would be incredibly acute and far more perceptive than any other alien species. (which would also explain why they're able to readily perceive Verenzy while Verenzy are clearly invisible to humans.) And to them, the light reflected off of Rainbow worlds would be the equivalent of... hrmm... some incredibly addictive and pleasurable drug.

Well, I suppose they could also just be interested in the Rainbow Worlds in hopes of finding leftover yet-to-be-disposed-artifacts. I just figured the convoluted explanation was more entertaining than them simply harvesting Precursor artifact spare parts from Rainbow Worlds.

I like that idea. Rainbow worlds are a way for the Melnorme to party! Imagine, every now and then, you'll see a thousand traders enter a system, zoom into the vicinity of the Rainbow worlds, and then just go into a frenzy! So that would either be the best or the worst of times to trade with them. They'd be incoherent with joy, or just really happy to help...

Oh, another thing I'd like to do with a million or so RU's (Am I allowed to go twice on this? well, I'm rich so I can do whatever I want) would be to simply take the lander design, resize it for one person, and do joyrides on all the planets I'm visiting with my cruise ship.

Evil Idea:
I'd buy 1 million crewmembers at 1RU a piece. Then I'd head over to the druuge homeword and trade 50 of them in on a Mauler.

Then, I'd start a reality TV show like survivor with my 999,950 remaining crew member. The home audience would vote (at 1RU each call) for the one they wanted thrown into the Mauler's furnace:)

When I'm out of crewmember I would just start over with all the money I made from the show :)

And the winner of each show will get a 3 night stay with a half-dozen Shofixity maidens and the opportunity to push the next cast into the furnace.

Honestly?  I'd buy an alternative method to destroy the sa-matra, then I'd fly over towards the druuge homeworld, explain to them that they could in fact have that precursor terraforming device, and it was on it's way down to their planet right then.  The countdown to it's detonation, in 30 seconds, is of course, complimentary.

I would buy out the shofixti empire. There's not enough to start with, then it explodes with Shofixti. Like the "Shofixti threat" thread. They need a leader don't they?
