A lot about the development process of UQM2. The most concrete info about the game itself is a hint at a more branching storyline with different endings this time around.

Finally watched it fully.

As a German, I always wondered where the notion of Reiche being a Danish name came from.
It's not as if Danish use the "ei" sound like Germans do.
But interesting that they kept the correct pronunciation of "Reiche" for those who asked through the generations.


Current UQM has 4+ endings, of which 2 are merged in the final credits, as there is no reference to the non-revolution:
Death-March (you lose - you get a short talk)
you got yourself killed (you lose - unceremonious ending fading to black)
You win, with the Yehat Revolution started (you win)
You win, without the Yehat REevolution (you win, same ending as above)
Some in-betweens, during the death-march but you still destroyed the Sa-Matra (you win, same ending as the other "wins").
You slave-trader - you go to court (you win, but yeah, this ending has nothing else - whatever it takes)

But it indeed feels as if it's only one ending. (as "you lose" is not an ending a player accepts), and all others lead to the same slide-show, with the same credits.

Wait, slave trading seriously sends you to a different ending, or you're *proposing* that it do so?

It should, but it's something for after Talana wakes you up, and before you get to see your grandchildren.

And no, it's not in the game.
