Hayes) * Recreated all the UI fonts (not the alien fonts) for HD, they can be found in the repository (https://github.com/Serosis/UQM-MegaMod/tree/0.8.1/doc/fonts) in TTF and OTF format * New Flagship, modules, and lander graphics created by Jordan Lo * Show visited stars on the StarMap by dimming the visited star and putting parenthesis around its name * Kruzen recreated the PC-DOS planet scan and lander view * Found a way to generate 3DO planet textures and PC-DOS/3DO mineral amounts and placements in the default seed * New option that makes auto-pilot find the shortest way out of the solar system * Kruzen reimplemented the "read speed" DOS option when not using voices * Kruzen recreated the Constellation Map but now it is drawn in-engine so you can now zoom in and out * Added a "Known Homeworlds" map that shows homeworlds based on the information you've received And so much more! I don't know when that happened but it *should* have been able to stretch if you set the Aspect Ratio to "Any". Perhaps it's as easy as making new options for 16:9 and 16:10 that force it without having to set it manually? UPDATE: I checked Core UQM v0.8.0 and it also can't stretch out in fullscreen. Curious, I'll let McMartin know. UPDATE again: Did more testing and you can get it to stretch but only if you use the SDL1 version and not in full screen. edit oh i see you mentioned sdl1 i didn't even see that...ok that's better. i was also wondering about 16:9 resolutions? like 1920x1080? I just placed that addons on "\content\packages\addons" but i tried too placing in contents and packages with the same result. Everytime i launch the game it says an error and told me to place in the correct folder but, what is the correct folder? i tried with all and im lost Any help? Regards! Unzip the file into a folder and place the mm-0.8.2-content.uqm into my created folder named "sc2 0.82 megamod\content\packages" 3. I ran the game for adjust settings like graphiscs, sounds, etc. When i active HD version, i exit the program for restart it. 4. Dowloaded from sourceforge MegaMod / 0.8.2 / Content\mm-0.8.2-hd.uqm and mm-0.8.2-3dovoice.uqm 5. I place both addons on "sc2 0.82 megamod\content\packages/addons" 6. Unfortunately (Android), after copying the files to the addon folder, and selecting them in the Options menu, the game still tries to download them, and complains about the download failling, never entering the game. Is there a way to work around it? I believe it wipes out the Code: net.serosis.megamod/files directory so you'll have to copy over the addons again.Just remember to not select any of the downloads in the app config if you're doing it manually. The most helpful part was that you do NOT check of the boxes for the files which you manually put in the mods folder. Just put them there, but do not check the box. No configuration needed in other words. Checking the box makes it try to download it, which was giving me the problems. Now I'm on to the next challenge. It works great in landscape mode, but the portrait mode does not work. By playing with the different settings during startup and graphics settings in the game I could either get the graphics to show larger than the entire screen, like a tall vert narrow strip, compressed on the X-axis, or half the graphic showing starting at the left edge but the right half of the graphics disappearing over to the right side of the screen. I've got a Motorola G100. Perhaps it is not worth playing with. I also noticed that sliding the finger for the pad in portrait mode will also push the button when sliding over it. There seem to be a few issues with portrait mode. I never use the on-screen control in favor of a telescopic gamepad that clamps onto my phone. I only did just enough to get the controls visible on the right parts of the screen. |
