Title: Hello! Post by: The_Ultimate_Evil on May 18, 2003, 10:37:26 am New to this board, I recently found this website and got to re-play the greatest game ever!
I'm a huge fan of the game, I highly doubt it will ever be topped. Now adays game developers spend all of their time designing graphics instead of all the little things that made games like SC2 so great. I played starcon1 before starcon2, and spent literally years playing starcon2. I had a half dozen little note sheets lying around my computer desk with co-ordinates and other clues scribbled all over them forever it seemed :) And yes I did buy and play starcon3 as well, I know most people hate that game. I thought it was ok, the plot was fairly good and all. But it lacked the magic of starcon2 in a big way. It was basically just far too easy, but while it did have potential to be a really good game... the little things, the little finishing touches.. were not there. I wait for the day when another starcontrol game is made, but I fear that no game will ever top star control 2. PS If anyone knows where I can find a picture of a fearsome spathi-eater I would apreciate it :) Title: Re: Hello!
