Title: Im back, Did ya miss me? Post by: Defender on June 09, 2003, 11:39:31 am after a slight break from this forum, im back. i was out pursuing playstation emulation. it seems you can play psx games on your computer, or even *copy* orginals to play using an emulator. neat stuff.

Umm... yeah, I thought you were a little less loquacious than of old. Maybe someone has been using your avatar and had me thinking that they were you. BAD poster! ;) What annoys me is that I can't find an emulator that doesn't require the BIOS. I do not know how to rip a BIOS. And I would only want to play games I legitimately own, but, lacking a television, am unable to play! If only I could get my monitor to act as a TV... Title: Re: Im back, Did ya miss me? some of the people who run, or are locals of the psx emulation sites, most are not very nice. its nothing like here. here is home. now see, you've gone and made me get all mushy. ::) Death_999: to get a psx bios, you will need to do a google search. type in the bios your looking for. ie: SCPH1001 this, ive found is the fastest way. i nailed one on the first returned result. most psx people would not give up this info. it was like pulling teeth. legally if you own a psx you can also own the bios. same with games, if you have the game then you can also have the ISO. im not all sure if this is true, but most psxers, "what i call em", believe this to be true. i hope this helps. if you need any help setting up. email me with the problem, and ill be more than happy to help. mines up and running and it works great. you should see gran turismo 2, wow! the cars really look nice on my voodoo5. fps skips every now and then, but thats what happens when run from a cdr, not an ISO. anyways happy hunting. and if you still cant find one, let me know ill send you a copy of mine.
