Title: Looking for the 50 slots
Post by: Volka on July 03, 2003, 07:12:42 pm
Hi there, don't know if this is the correct board to post this, but what the hell, you may move it if it's incorrect.
Anyhow,I read in the Star Control II manual that there was actually 50 available slots to save your games. It seems they are not available in uqm,am I wrong?
I really need more slots,10 slots are very few.

There were 50 available in the original PC version... and you could name them too.
Since this is based off the 3d0 code and that only supported 10, it'll take some effort to replace it (especially if we want it to be system-independent and support preview, like it is now).

Weird. The PC version I played indeed had 50 slots, and you could name them all. Maybe your version was for the Commodore 64 or the Amiga.

SC2 on C64? I'd love to see that. ;D

Seriously, has anyone here actually seen the Amiga version of SC2 (if such a beast exists)? How does it differ from the PC version?

Heh, I made a C64 (SID) version of the melee tune.
