I think its like this, Smell is unique to your DNA, but only you, not for instance, your father. When your knowledge of the ORZ is great enough, they can identify your smell exclusively, thus can come after you. By this token, the Androsynth, once one of them knew enough of the ORZ, the entire species was easily *smelled* (because they are identical) thus vulnerable to the ORZ.

Easy, the best combat sequences is Endgame, the second last episode of season 4, I'm pretty sure, of B5.
The thing I like most about B5 combat is that you actually can tell, just by instinct, know how much damage a particular shot did, its not like Andromeda where every single battle the freaking ship gets blown to pieces, I mean, come on, missiles that hit don't even leave scorch marks, yet the inside of the bridge has shrapnel flying everywhere.

Well, Star Trek has stupid amounts of money, and they still get canned, I dunno, maybe AAA production don't mean squat when the show is inherently crap.
Andromeda is good, Tyr is easily one of my favourite sci-fi characters, his best line was "I believe at the end of the universe only three things will remain. Tyr Anasazi, The cockroaches, and Dylan Hunt trying to save the cockroaches." Classic =p

B5 is the best series, hands down, ever.
Btw, B5 was one of the forrunners of CGI, as in, they invented some shit that made CGI possible as it is today. Pretty revolutionary. Also, they are the only TV series (except the Prisoner) which had a story arc with a definitive beginning, middle and end, which is why it stopped in its 5th season, when ratings were highest.
The CGI was perfectly fine for the time.
The scripts were fantastic, the acting was never cheesy, and personally, I think that B5 had the only good spaceship fights to date, where the impacts on damage actually looked realistic. By comparison, I consider Andromeda the worst.
