you don't need more than one lander. I don't lose them  much anymore but if you seem to just save before a landing(don't land on hard to mine planets)

they don't have one. after the first doctrine war they went across the rim of the galaxy in diff directions. they meet in the area the game takes place in.

I left for a while and when I come back the new version is out and the fourm has had a cosmetic change. the new version sounds like it's done bump it up to 1.0.

EDIT: Damn! And damn again! How could I not mention HG Wells' War of the Worlds? Or Jules Verne's classics Journey to the Centre of the Earth and Twenty Thousand Leagues under the sea.

all good books, but I was underwhelmed by the movie.
