I like Star control 2, but I'm surpirsed no has mentioned Halo 1 or Halo 2!!!!!!!!

I've heard of this cloaking device before.  It's supposed to not come up on the planet scanners, thus making really hard to find.  Has any one found it?  Does anyone have a hunch where it probably is?  Maybe the programmers know...

I don't think those should be allowed to corrupt this honest, straight game.  

Black Spathi:  I've heard you guys talk about them.  Who are they?  What's their legend?  Has anyone found them?  Where's their homeworld?  What to they do?

Can you extract stuff off the Star Control 2 3DO CD?  

Take Fwiffo and go blast up some VUX.  They're easy to beat with Spathis.  But I wouldn't dare mess with the Ilwrath without a Jugger or Avatar.  

I've never tried to defeat the Sa-Matra when the Ur-Quan start killing everyone.  Does it move around in the middle of the Koh-ra circle?

For the bomb, play around with the Yehat.  Between attacking you 50% of the time, they will twll you something interesting on a certain Mycoon planet.  This can be used to accelerate a certain two races combination faster...

There is a time limit (Duh, everyone else just said that), but here's some advice when you began the next game:  

Use the Melnorme trader a bit more.  I buy almost all my fuel from him.  He sells information, but I like exploring. Sure you won't be getting much tech. upgrades, but you don't need a dreadnought to win the game.  By doing this, you save money for fuel and men at the starbase.

Explore the galaxy.  There will be some hostile alien species, but the ones that aren't will help a lot.  Allies will give you items (hint: important), blueprints and pilots for their ships. This is a start on the way to win the game.  

I agree.  The Druuge have the best victory ditty.

Well, it's was a work in progress.  The newer versions don't have many of the old bugs.

I forgot about the debris salvaging the Vindicator does.  I have also found out that there are games out there that acknowlegde space junk.   Debris does get vaporized in the atmospheres of planets.  But what is the universe mostly made of?  Answer:  Space; an infinite void with a few spots of galaxies.  Even galaxies consist mostly of space.  The chance of space junk being destroyed is very low.  Option Six suggests that the destruction of a starship causes a combustion of all the materials the ship consists of.  This is probably true and I'm glad that someone mentioned it.

Back to favorite ship topic.  My favorite ship is the Spathi Eluder.  It's good against almost any Heirarchy ship.  

You should still be able to play the game.  To get the voice files though, you can use a download manager or just download the file from "dowloads."  You can then "copy" it and "paste" it in the "content; packages" folder.  Hope this helps.
