1  The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release / General UQM Discussion / Re: Someone please make Orz Dictionary! on: August 29, 2005, 01:38:57 am
I always thought of *camper* as "dimensional traveller" and *happy camper* as "friendly dimensional traveller" but I could be wrong.

Like the guy said- A lot is up to interpretation. That's the genius of the Orz scenes.

Orz. Isn't it obvious to everybody?
3  The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release / General UQM Discussion / Re: psp port? on: August 29, 2005, 01:33:48 am
I mentioned this in another thread, but let me say I'm all for this!

And by the way- You don't need a UMD burner!  The PSP will play games from the memory stick, and they don't necessarily have to be emulations or hacks. This is something they planned on PSP from the beginning, providing that you know how to program for PSP.

Finally- Why are people being so snotty to the original poster? He made a simple suggestion, and you all piled on and got all sarcastic with him.  It's a good idea, and putting it out there might make one of the homebrew people think about giving it a shot.

Suggestions shouldn't be shot down, guys. They make the gaming community better. It's negative people who grump about such suggestions that drag things down.

4  The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release / General UQM Discussion / Other versions- PSP, DS, GBA? on: August 29, 2005, 01:28:17 am
I just wondered- Are there any enterprising types out there who might be able to figure out how to port The Ur-Quan Masters over to any of the portable platforms?  I think it would particularly ROCK on the Sony PSP.

I'm not talking about emulation of the PC or Linux version, but actually using the source to make a version specific to these portable consoles... Is it possible? I think PSP would be easy enough because you can play PSP games from the memory stick, so you wouldn't need a developer's kit to put it on a cartridge or anything.

Someone--- PLEASE do this!
