Yeah, doing that worked fine for me.  My friend with a DSL connection downloaded it for me and just copied the directory on a CD....

I don't know if I'm digging the time limit thing.  Yes, it can be annoying when someone just runs, but every melee game I've played has gotten resolved in fairly short order, and sometimes those long battles where you finally come out on top are just oh so sweet....

Wow love the art, esp the detail on the Yehat/Shofixti picture.  Some cool stuff.  I could argue that Dashboard is not emo but rather quite sappy acoustic pop, or maybe MTVemo, but that's a debate for another forum...hehe <rubs hands ruefully>

All in all, you have some really good stuff!

I'd have to say  my favorites are as most people have said, the Yehat.  Ever since I played Super Melee on my friends 386 (we didn't realize there was a whole other game!) they have been my favorite ships to fly.  Actually talking to them in SC2 was amazing and I came to love their culture and history.  The music for them was also awesome.  '

I also really liked/disliked the Orz.  They had a very cool/creepy feel to them, and while I appreicated all the help they gave me (their ships are one of my favorites to fly) I could never quite shake the question 'are we gonna end up like the Androsynth?'  They just had a cool backstory that I always wanted to learn more about.  Any new sequel I hope would definitely include more about them....
