4) I guess the Jugger, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe I should try it with a Supox ship, or maybe even an Arilou ship.
I've never tried a Supox ship, but I used an Arilou ship once. I had to constantly teleport away from the green spheres and fireballs, and when I had the chance, shoot the spheres, but it was harder. I used a few Shofixti, to self-destruct the spheres to destroy 3 spheres (I think). But yeah, if only I had those Furys

Hello, I just finished UQM (with the help of walkthroughs and the wiki), and I did it using Utwigs, because all my Pkunks died. It was much harder because the Utwig Juggers are slower and can't fire sideways. I had 5 Juggers, and I needed all of them. My Precursor ship had 250 crew in it. Everytime the green balls for fireballs touched me, I'd turn on my shield to survive. I'd intentially run into the green balls to push my self in the opposite direction really fast, so it's difficult to get hit by the Sa Matra. I'd fly very fast, and when I move near the Sa Matra, I'd turn around towards it and keep firing at the red shield generators. After destroying the shield generators, I'd destroy the fireballs (more important to destroy than the green balls), and escape, and send in your presursor ship (e.g. Vindicator, etc.) to enter the Sa Matra... I was so happy when I finished the game  . I just wanted to tell everyone that you can beat the Sa Matra without the Pkunk Furys, but it's harder without them. The furys are faster, can fire sideways, and reincarnate (randomly). Hope this helps

Star Control 3 is considered Non-Canon. And I hate the game. The animatronics (puppets) just look stupid, the interface isn't user-friendly, and you have to make colonies in that game.
As long as there's a nice variety of ships, deep storyline, with non-linear stories within that one, and exploring, and no colonies, or mining, I'll be happy. I wonder if it will be 3D or really enhanced 2D....
I have faith in TFB!

This thread has become more than just disturbing...
LOL, it's a revenge thread! Anyways, buy him a pizza, but mix the cheese with cyanide! Burn his car! Put a potato in his exhaust pipe (They proved in Mythbusters that this doesn't work, but it will still annoy him) Reply to junk mail involving money, and put the pawn shops number to it. Prank call the pawn shop, and ask them if they do birthday parties. Or, just beat him with a baseball bat with a nail hammered through the end. And give him a whach to the head for me! Nobody fraks around with Star Control!!! NOBODY!!! If it makes you feel any better, I spent $7 dollars on a Kill Bill DVD (don't ask), and it only had 45 minutes of the actual movie, so I know how you feel...

Hey, I know toys for bob would of most likely posted any new info on the situation on their website, but why the hell haven't we heard anything new? Is this bad? I am afraid......
There's really not much for them to post. They did put a lot of emphasis on sending those e-mails. I've been sending at least one e-mail every day, and I even mailed them a letter  . I don't know when they'll get it Just keep sending those e-mails (to alexness@toysforbob.com), and hopefully TFB will convince Activision to create a new Star Control game! They're the only ones who can make a Star Control game right. Spread the word in other forums, chatrooms, MSN screenname, etc.Do not give up!

I made the new sig with the precursor ship:  I went through hell finding good pics, but I managed to make something...  I had to play the game and use my ship in a fight to get a pic.  Now I have one more to add to the collection I also made a spathi one:

Is it possible to create the sig banner as a link to the UQM project page? Absolutely! This is what you need to add to your signature to add the url: [url=http://sc2.sf.net][img]http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i108/batman4050/scsho.png[/img][/url] Just get the http path of the image file, and put it within the tags, and you can change the image. I hope this helps
