No. I Thought that parameters was changed Instantly. Isn't it ? Anyway now i always run UQM through .bat file with launch parameters and have no problems.

Ha! I've go a crash on

I think that problem is really in sound, i try use mixsdl now, because yesterday i play with mixsdl about 2 hours and don't have any crash.

Hm. Very strange. I try to launch game by:

uqm.exe -r 640x480 -f -c hq -l log.txt -m 3do -q high --sound openal --cscan pc  --menu pc --font 3do -i pc --scroll 3do --shield 3do --addon russian --addon remix

and it's crash. After it i try

uqm.exe -r 640x480 -f -c hq -l log.txt -m 3do -q high --sound mixsdl --cscan pc  --menu pc --font 3do -i pc --scroll 3do --shield 3do --addon russian --addon remix

and it's work! but as i say i try mixsdl before!

after that y try

uqm.exe -o -f -c hq -l log.txt -m 3do -q high --sound mixsdl -M 50 -S 80 --cscan pc  --menu pc --font 3do -i pc --scroll 3do --shield 3do --addon russian --addon remix  (1024x786 opengl)

and it's work!!!

and now i try

uqm.exe -o -f -c hq -l log.txt -m 3do -q high --sound openal -M 50 -S 80 --cscan pc  --menu pc --font 3do -i pc --scroll 3do --shield 3do --addon russian --addon remix  (1024x768 opengl + openal)

and it's WORK!!! I Really don't understand anything, because i run game with that parameters before, and have crashes. Only difference is that earlier i laucnh game by shortcut (.lnk), which was created by game installer, with parameters: ["F:\Games\The Ur-Quan Masters\uqm.exe" --addon remix --addon russian], and other parameters i set by the in-game configurator. Now i launch it by something like uqm.bat, that containing: uqm.exe -o -f -c hq -l log.txt -m 3do -q high --sound openal -M 50 -S 80 --cscan pc  --menu pc --font 3do -i pc --scroll 3do --shield 3do --addon russian --addon remix

First: Thank you for great work that you do.
And now the problem actually: the game crash with Windows always while i am in dialogue with somebody. For example i fly to Pluto to talk with Spathi, and when i choose some answer, game may immediately crash with Windows and only Reset button help me . On the other hand if i try to finish dialogue "fast" (no reading, just by "space" & "enter" pressing) i have a chance that game will not crash and i continue to play, but such way is unacceptable.
Of course i tried to do "fast" dialogue with spathi on Pluto, because i think that the problem only in this dialogue, but on Starbase at dialogue with commander i still have crashes. It's impossible to play ! I still in Sol System

Game version is 0.5, i've just downloaded it from your website. (uqm-0.5.0-3domusic.uqm, uqm-0.5.0-content.uqm, uqm-0.5.0-installer.exe, and also uqm-remix-pack1.zip - i set it as addon). OS is Windows XP SP2.

CPU - Amd Athlon XP 1800+ (Thoroughbred B)
GPU - nVidia GeForce FX 6600 AGP 256mb, driver - forceware 81.85

Earlier i complete this game on dos(original). Then in Windows (your version 0.2 and 0.3 too) and it was playable, but now i don't understand what is problem exactly. Please help me to find solution.
