purple spathi.....why?!?

2º- I was thinking for what reson the spathi is purple and my respost was(Remember this):
That they canot do the original spathi (whit claws like a clam) so they do that guy. Now the reson that he is pink is simple: Because (you imagine now ) that guy if he was multi-color (Like the original) he where like a hippy. So they do this reson
