I'm curious...which are the best ships v human? I remember playing Super-Melee back when I was about 12/13 years old (when the game came out), and the best ship were the Utwig, Chenjesu (sp?) and the Ur Quan/Korh An. Personally, I love the Orz the best.

Aw shucks. Thanks for the offer, but I need to brush up on my technique a bit first. It's been years since I played this game. I'm still trying to remember how to use each ship etc. I love the Spathi ship, especially the 'butt' missle.

Hi guys, just found out about this site and the re-release of SC2 - Ur Quan Masters.

Got to say I'm stoked. Playing the game again now...

One question - when did the aliens obtain voices? I'm sure they weren't in the original game...personally I find some of them a bit annoying, like the Moonbase Commander, but Fwiffo sounds just like Dr Strangelove, does he not? Wonder if this is deliberate?

Anyway, thanks for re-releasing this game! Man, I love SC2.

I believe the 'UFO-like' game referred to in this thread is the recent 'UFO: Extraterrestrials.'

It's Czech, by the way, not Russian.

It's a 'spiritual successor' (read: rip off) of the original XCOM, with updated graphics.
