They also have legs.

Where does it say they have legs? I have not seen any indication of this.

The tubed creatures are clawed, which allows them to cling tenaciously to the roped ceilings of their dreaded Dreadnought craft.

So that is what those spikes are for. I guess this is the Ur-quan represented on the cover

I always envisioned the Ur-Quan home world as being a really dense tropical forest, where a caterpillars agility might be of use. If they look like caterpillars, only quicker and bigger) they could probably make good speed through dense vegetation, outpacing any prey.

Yeah, that makes sense. It seems hard to imagine them moving very fast on open plains with those clawed tentacles or whatever appendage it is they have.

Hi,

I have often wondered how the Ur-Quan move, those tentacles look like they would be good for hanging from trees but how would they move on say open grassland, or do they have legs like cattapillars? Obviously it's not needed to be explained in the game as they hang around in ships all day but nevertheless it would be interesting to know what their natural means of locomotion is.

You were right. I promptly corrected the mistake and it worked fine.

Thanks for the help.
