I would never have guessed... not bad quiz, though you could throw in, like 20 more questions 5 answers each for the sake of accuracy. Keep on rockin'.

But then I'd lose my audience. 
It's already wordy enough and they tell you that you should be as brief as possible. Since fewest people would have heard of SC2 I can't expect them to wade through more than 20 obscure questions I think.

Oh, and I "fixed" the Syreens. They are last now for "friendliest".
First of this cluster are the Sylandro, who are friendliest but have the restriction not to be too open
Then comes the ZFP, restriction: Not highest intelligence, not too mysterious.
Then comes the Humans, restriction: Not too mysterious and rather down to earth.
Whatever does not fit in there hits the Syreen.

The Pkunk and Orz on the other hand are both 'most open', the Orz being violent and the Pkunk non-violent. It's complcated but I think it somewhat fit better now.

Well, there were a lot of challenges with this thing. Many personalities of the two dozen species or so overlap and finding some categories that would match personal traits were not that easy. Some were rather flat (one sided) in terms of character, like Supox and Ilwrath, other were much more complex and then again others really hard to define. What e.g. do you do with the Slylandro? They habe an interest in the universe but due to their physical appearance can't travel. There were lots of problems like that.

I finally settled with the ten categories and defined some archetypes. Consequently I designated highest values to some characters. So if your violence level is the highest of all values then you are, well I'm sure you could guess this one. More complex aliens have some kind of restriction when the list of possible matches is being processed. It works like this: Is 'intellectual' your highest value? If so, are you more oppressive than friendly? If so, you are a Dnyarri. Some of this is debatable but I think there are no major problems. I used some absolute values as well.

I guess I could have just gone naming them like the species (as in: “you are 65% Human”, etc). That would have probably been much more easy. But this way it's more easy to comprehend I guess.

Well, this took much more time and effort than it should be for a personality test on a dating website but I'd like to think of it as a little project of mine and a homage to a game I really like. Others draw fanart of the bubbly Orz, enjoying the sauce, I struggle with the logic that determine different fictional characters.
