This is where the Ur-Quan and Orz kick in. When you send out a bunch of crew, you suddenly become a whole lot weaker. I think there should be an Armor variable that decreases amount of crew lost (to a minimum of 1; If it would get lower, have a possibility of the weapon not working). Actually, I've been thinking (ever since I first won UQM) that I would like to make some changes to UQM once I learn C++, so maybe next year I'll look into doing that. (By then I should know C++) i wish they had shields, but the ZFP are an interesting race.

When you play Earthling vs. AI Ur-Quan the Ur-Quan will charge at you endlessly when it's set to Easy. When it's set to hard, it will charge you, then try to catch you by turning around and looping around the screen. A smart Earthling pilot, however, will always be able to win as long as he keeps his distance. The best way for an Ur-Quan to win is to just stubbornly chase down the Earthling with its superior speed. In this case, the AI on easy is more of a challenge.
it is still hard to beat an ur-quan.
