646  The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release / General UQM Discussion / Re: Slylandro expansion on: February 21, 2003, 04:04:32 am
Think about it, all they would need is a starbase that could build ships that they could build a fleet of colony ships and "friendly" probes.

how did they get the materials to make the devices that sank them to the depths? if they cant go down into the depths to get it?

how old is that hyperwave caster they have? can you think of anything the human race has built that would last that long?
647  The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release / General UQM Discussion / The New Alliance Ships on: February 21, 2003, 03:50:05 am
Now imagine what would happen after the war..
they would build new ships and those new ships would incorperate all tech from the races. Cool

What i would build would us the Chmmr design as the hull and replace the main weapon with the Earthling cruisers missles, but i would improve those missles with Thradish afterburners. Smiley Also have a higher rate of fire. i would keep the butterflies and incorperate the Utwig shields. Grin last i would replace the drive system with one designed by the the Arilou.  Cool

just the thought of this ship in action sends shivers down my spine. Smiley

what would you design?
648  The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release / General UQM Discussion / Re: Nation Building in Space on: February 21, 2003, 03:34:04 am
the earthling Missles with after burners..... that would be devistating Grin Shocked

utwig shields with butterflies that would be near invunrable Grin

then adding the arilou engines and you have ship that would be able to take out the Sa-Matra!!!!! Shocked

yes i just restated what i said but its just a cool idea.

654  The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release / General UQM Discussion / Re: Port Star Control to GBA? on: December 26, 2002, 09:35:01 am
Ive been thinking that since the GBA first came out. Cheesy
i wonder if you could do the same with X-com! Wink

of course who would do it?
im not much of a programer but i think it would be a-bit harder to remake the game for the GBA.
its not like you can download games onto your gameboy Huh
655  The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release / General UQM Discussion / Re: Star Control copyright on: December 26, 2002, 09:19:36 am
even thought the name "star control" is in the game it is not a legal matter. even if it was the company would not make money by sueing. it would cost them money since the poeple who are realeasing it are doing it for free Smiley dp ypu understand what i am saying? Huh
