This article reminds me very much of two of my mates from high school, who were the ones to introduce me to Star Control on the Megadrive.  They were all about the Yehat Terminator though.

Myself, I liked the X-Form

That was quite entertaining.  I especially liked the story about the Pkunk special ability, and also the Little Witching Mischiefs development tale.
