I used Captain "Blye" on the "HMS Bounty"  I played it ruthlessly, and didn't bother with lander upgrades.  I just burned through crew on the hostile planets.  Take off before you lose the last crewmember, and your good to go.

Every ship has it's strengths and weaknesses, it depends on what type of ship you're fighting and how good you are with it.

Wouldn't they still be subject to the laws of physics etc.?  They exist in our Universe, so they would have to find a way to "live" in our Universe too.  That's what I always figured anyway.

I could be wrong, but didn't the Kzer-Za thrall races sporadically?  I mean, didn't they thrall one on the left side, then the right, then back to the left etc...?  They for the weaker ones first, then gathered thralls to help take on the stronger ones.

A Playstation port would be one of the Greatest Things to happen to the playstation!!  Ah what a great day that would be....

For the PC version, you could change your names.... I don't remember being able to do it with the actual 3DO version.  Can you do it with this UQM version?  Haven't tried looking for that option myself.....

You can change the names in the 3DO version, so I would assume that you would be able to in the re-release as well.

I still play SC2 on my 3DO
