Say that fate favors us and the Deific Duo are allowed to make a new game-in this scenario, a remake of Star Control 2; and that they have the resources to spurge on swanky stuff. For example their choice of all star voice actors.  

And you get to choose the voice actors and roles

Pick your actors and role. Include: name, previous roles, a youtube link as an example, possible casting choices in this theoretical game and any comments; in that order.

Some of those voices are wonderful. Like Larry Zee's Ur-Quan rendition.  Or Bruce Leyland's Yehat. But yeah, some need replacing. I assume you could make new voice archives and use .rmps to set it to use those files?

That could be a forum project, eh?

Main question: Is there any change in the way 3DO videos are treated in this version? I've got them extracted and I tried putting them in the usual spot. I get the default intro. Any clues?

Also, how do you insert your own custom resource packs, like say,  non-precursors soundtracks which have been converted to .oggs?  I've tried creating my own archives, or editing the games' existing packs (the precursors ones, not 3DO). Does not work.  Again, any clues would helpful.
