There are two things that every tracker or musician has to make in his/her life. The first is a cheesy popcorn remix. The second is one or more horrible SC2 remix(es).

Yup Cheesy

Maybe the original raw data is out there somewhere? Or somebody can capture the 3DO video-output and convert it...

Another way, (best quality) would be to get a 3DO emulator (freedo) and capture the audio/videostream. Perhaps there's even an option in the emulator that does it for you.

Why..it just makes me want to erect a slave shield over family and friends and communicate with them through my trusty talking frog.

Oooohh, that's the feeling! Grin

Hehe...    I think that this song might work well with a dark choir or something singing in the background.  I dunno, maybe a pounding bass sound in the background to make it sound eviller, y'know?

It will be more evil-sounding. When it's properly mixed it will be much more powerful (I hope). I also think that to follow J.'s suggestion to make it sound more Ur-Quan like (less, human army) I will change a bit in the sound, add a synth drone for example in the lower end. It will still sound orchestral, but with a weird feeling... some ambient sounds effects...?
And a choir? Well, it was there in a previous version, but it became too crowdy. In a later part of the song, or a variation of the theme... who knows Wink

Anyway, Riku and I spoke about the remixing. The songs are supposed to be kept secret 'till release, for the surprise effect. So, no more previews until it's done (just be patient) ;-)

Thank's for your suggestions and kind words everyone Smiley

Thanks Grin

J: I agree with you that it has to sound a bit more evil and ominous. It's difficult, because I want to stick with original orchestral sounds. But I'll try ofcourse! A real mix will make it sound much more in-your-face too, so that should help.

Riku already contacted me about the remixes... so that should work out Cool

If I find some time this evening I'll work on it again and maybe post an updated version.

Really excited to make some music for a remake of one of my most favourite games ever Smiley
