When I played the port, the Syreen didn't join up and the Mycon didn't move.  I proved that the Mycon destroyed their homeworld, got the Syreen ships, and told the Mycon about the planet they should check out.  Did I miss something

Also at the end of the game the Yehat still hadn't ended their civil war.  Is this usual?

wasn't there another large guide that came with the game?  Maybe the back of the hyperspace map.

I thought it would be fun if you could:

Send the Ilwrath to fight the Thradash.
Just before the Ilwrath got to fighting them, send the Thradash to fight the Ur Quan Kohr Ah

Then you have them both going into Ur Quan space...

Considering you need to get the Clear Spindle from them, I'd hope so. ... that makes me wonder, has anyone tried going to the Pkunk homeworld after their sphere disappears?

I beat the game and there was no ending, only credits.  Is that normal for this version?  I'll try again in a few days probably.

Ur Quan Masters is one of the best games ever.  I have the PC version on the shelf behind me.
