Wow. I come in here and throw a wild speculation into the pot, and the next thing I know people are rationalising it´s non-existance in the game?  Shocked

Ok, then...I say the Androsynth towed it away with them, just to spite us and make all our starscharts obsolete.

Most likely, you might have heard something about a new planet having been discovered in our solar system on the news.

They named it Sedna, and it´s three times further from the sun than Pluto.

Anyway, when I heard this, I was wondering: How much work would it be to cram an extra planet into UQM´s version of the Solar System? Currently, I can think of three reasons NOT to do it:

# Insufficient data available. The data that´s important to UQM, that is. What kind of Tectonic rating would it have? Weather? And most important of all: What colour is it?

# Forced relocation of Fwiffo. Fwiffo, in true Spathi fashion, hid on the planet farthest from the sun. Now that Pluto no longer is the planet farthest from the sun, he would have to be relocated, I really doubt people would want that (though I´m pretty sure Fwiffo would).

# It´s alot easier to program it´s non-existance than it´s existance. The UQM project has enough programming stuff to worry about as is, without crazy people coming in and demandng that a whole planet should be inserted into the game "because it´s there".

Thoughts?

Hi, I´m new here and would like to take the opportunity to say "THANK YOU! For making a good thing live on!" to everybody involved with the Ur-Quan Masters project.

I have a small question regarding the great music in SC2. Basically: Who wrote what track? Dan Nicholson and Riku Nuottajarvi and Eric Berge were kind enough to put their names with the .mod tracks, but what about the others? I´ve looked around, but haven´t found the missing names. Can anybody here help?

Or will this information all be available when the Remix Project is finished?

I can´t remember the exact job title (lead designer?), but Tim Schaefer helped make alot of the LucasArts adventure games in the 90´s. The last one he was involved with was Grim Fandango.

As to the topic itself....I think it´s a great idea! Not just for SC2, but most games in general.
