No, the thraddash rocked.. I beat many human players with it- many good ones mind you. You just have to know how to actually fly it.

How did the Kohrah have no weakness? a thraddash would easily take it out.. get close and behind the sucker, keep shooting your pellet gun, and if the damn thing does a flame circle then just turn a bit and engage full afterburner

Personally, I loved the thraddash- conquering them with a small force of earthling cruisers was almost as fun as flying them =) ..
