I just finished reading it.

Fantastic work.  I love the fact that The Captain wasn't the primary focus, the characters of the XO and crew-members were most enjoyable.     

On top of that I love the minor tweeks that filled in gaps and smoothed over the "game world" to make a cohesive story.

Five out of five stars.   Will read again.
