were you on autopilot?  if  you were, then you were hit by the standard autopilot bug, which bombs out when entering a system.  the only way around that currently is to disengage autopilot before entering a system.

which means no leaving the game unattended =)

i've had the pkunk come back in all sorts of battles.
its alot of fun to resurrect in a human v. human battle and watch the anger rise =)

well, the speech is from the 3do version, and the text is from the PC version.
the todo list says that synchronizing them is a low priority.

this is an error relating to the dialog stream.  I'll bet it happens cause you are hitting the right arrow to scroll quickly through the text, right?  Dirty fix is to hit space bar to skip dialog all together.

if you guys would take the time to read the todo list, you'd notice that there are significant collision detection errors in the game, accounting for self hitting butt missles and mycon weapons...

It happens to me EVERY TIME.

how long have you been playing?  you'll notice that time doesnt really move in a system, but changes alot in hyperspace.

(i'm using the windows ver, and am well into 2156  Wink )

that is a documented bug, and has apparently been fixed in the unreleased 0.2 alpha ver.

the utwig and supox go and fight the kohr ah once you fix the ultron.

you can also have the thraddash attack, but its better to have the ilwrath attack the thrads...

dont know jack about hacking, but enabling cyborg mode is easy.  go into the game settings menu (where you change music and sound options and stuff) and select the upraised fist that says human.  it will switch to cyborg.  hit enter again and it'll become a higher level borg.  it can go another level higher before going back to human.

go to the star map, select destination star using enter key, then hit spacebar and go back to navigate.  the ship should move automatically from there.  remember to disengage autopilot as you near the star, else you'll crash =)

the fact that we have this much to play with at all is amazing.

Remember, these folks are doing all the conversions by themselves for free.  If you don't like something, either code the patch yourself, or wait patiently like the rest of us.
