I studied for two years. I can understand normal speech fairly well. I know around 200 kanji.
日本語を二年間ぐらい勉強していました。簡単話を分かります。漢字は二百ごろ知っています。

Well, I know the numbers 1-10 and 100... but that's not much. Mostly because they're never used.
一、二、三、四、五、六、七、八、九、十、百。
(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 100 respectively)
わたし は 十五さい です。

Hrmmm... I think I saw that manga before. I recognize the face of that guy, and remember the drying a cat in a microwave. But that's it. Is that a famous panel, or something? Or am I more insane than I thought? And I think I know some more categories you forgot: Paranormal (UFO, Bigfoot, etc.) Geek, /b/tard (yeah, I guess I am braking rules 1 and 2, don't yell at me), Apple Geek. I almost said Linux geek, but I guess that falls under Open Source.
