Hello,
I wanted to reach out because I am working on a small open source fan project called BattleControl. It is inspired by The Ur-Quan Masters and the UQM HD MegaMod, and it is still very much a work in progress.
I have been a fan since the 90s, the game gave me and my friends unforgettable memories: playing together on one keyboard was the best multiplayer! BattleControl is my way of paying tribute to that experience.
I am doing my best to credit The Ur-Quan Masters, the HD MegaMod, and the people behind them clearly and carefully. If I have misunderstood anything around attribution, presentation, or licensing, I would genuinely appreciate being corrected while the project is still evolving.
