It's already been reported, but in an oblique way relating to a VM that needlessly confuses the issue.
0.8 has been compiled so it won't run in XP. If you were planning to run The UQM on an XP installation, you will have to use 0.7.
I really wish someone had mentioned somewhere that this change was made; I already had a 0.7 installation and hoped to get some bug fixes. Now my installation is messed up and I have to download the old version again.
Also, the installer failed to download any packages including content. The only way to install is by downloading packages first and pointing the installer to the folder they are in.
