The Ancient One

And, swiftly putting an end to this rumour infested carcass of a debate, I'd just like to add that dung is a very important part of most rural economies, and indeed most urban ones as well. It can be burnt for heat, it can fertilize the fields, and if you bake it in the sun you will get bricks, and even be able to construct houses!
This may seem inappropriate to some of you, but seriously, a debate about what someone who pissibly is someone supposedly said is about as productive as a "dung bricks" debate.
Lets just leave it to those who are actually involved in the work (such as youBastrd if I'm no mistaken?)...

If you're curious about the probe2 in TW, here's a link to it's "critics corner board": http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~timewarp/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi?s=3f12fb4444cdffff;act=ST;f=12;t=58
The CVS repository for TW was recently populated on SF by youBastrd! with the May 2nd, 2003 version of cur.zip that I had downloaded from Fileplanet. This cur.zip has a windows executable with the SC2 ships, and compiles the SC2 ships in linux (the CVS contains some fixes to help linux compiles). I don't know what Slylendro's refering to, but apparently some other people have a different version of the file than I do, or are just lying through their teeth; there's a similar thread on TW's older (technical) discussion board: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~starcontrol/rpgboard/viewer.cgi/timewarp/3EBB10190000264C.html
Orz might not have used CVS, but they did have their SF site set up quite a while ago (1999 or earlier; before I learned about TW). We really are just now using SF because fileplanet became unusable. Now SF's CVS is becoming difficult. :-/
