The Speed Booster? What?
You're totally wrong. The Speed Booster is on Alpha Pavonis, along with the Dreadnaught. You just need to keep searching the wreck about 100 times, then they'll find it.
Down in the corner is where you get the fabled Trident Activation Device. Think Wimbli's is just a piece of junk? Think again. Once you get the Activation Device ( Alpha Arae I or III I think) you can set the Trident to work. It's got three special effects, one set in motion by each prong, and you can use it as many times as you'd like!
Prong 1: Fireball: Spits a huge fireball, Sa-Matra style, toward your enemy, causing horrendous damage and sometimes killing the ship in one hit!
Prong 2: Crew Regeneration: Grow back crew at about 2x the Mycon speed at 1/2 the energy cost!
Prong 3: Mind Control: Ever wanted those pesky Ur-Quan to ally with you? The third prong of Wimbli's Trident allows you to control as many enemy craft you like, as long as you have room in your fleet! You can also stop certain bad events, like the Pkunk annihilation, the Spathi self-shielding, and yes, even stop the Kohr-Ah in their tracks!
It's worth the 100 crew, so what're you waiting for? Go ahead...whats a few hunams compared to a universe in your power?

Kohr ah primate mentioned earlier on the thread that you don't need to fix the ultron to get the bomb. Has anybody done this before? how do you do that?

And I always thought the SE corner was just the home of the Black-Spathi squadron. Their ships are way better than those standard Spathi ships

Nope, you're all wrong. The area that portal leads to is where the Brown Ur-Quan, along with the Faz, Drall, Yuli, Yuptar, Taalo, and all the other Milieu pals now reside.
