I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Ok i admit first off i might be looking at this wrong, just watning to see this, but then again its sci fi? Created originaly on a AMIGA (SC1 for the amiga) and animaters have been known to place funny things into shows cause they know it cant be seen, though with the advent of TIVO and slow motion play i found this. It looks to me to be the Star Control 2 Flagship. Im ging to post this with 5 images if i can. now keep in mind this sequece happend in mayby 2 seconds, and it may be a trick of the eye, but i think its prety neat. Hope i dont get scholded for this though

It is a bit of a stretch, but what I can make it out is somewhat reminiscent of the Vindicator.

Its a bit more visable when moving but unfortinatly posting a video to yahoo is akin to pulling teath! Though if any one wants one let me know and ill do what i need to do. Just be prepared for along set of instructions

It was the final episode of babalon 5 (sleeping in the light) where shearton dies and they decomission b5, hense the explosion. unfortinatly i cant afford the videos so all i have is this recording from my tivo which was compressed somewhat. Anyways ill try to upload the video here in a munit

If you want to see something identical to SC2, in B5, you should check out the human cargo transporters, They look exactly like the Earthling Cruiser. There are high-detailed renderings of them in the "generic intro" from each episode (i forgot the exact term) and as well in some cases when they show the station and ships around it. If i remember well, there were even some cargo ships like those in Star Trek...

That link in my last post is to the file, and you can link up to it if you like (despite the fact that I already did).
Personally I think it bears more of a resemblace to an Earthling Cruiser than the Vindicator, but it's difficult to really tell when it's so small and obscured. Perhaps slicing out just that part and magnifying might allow a closer (though likely blurry) look.

Hi..
i just registered to this forum, but i have always been a big starcontrol2 fan..
and about the sc easter egg in babylon 5, i think that it is very probable, because to me it is very obious that the creator of babylon had played Starcontrol2..
because imh they have too many similarities to be just coincidences:
1.the 2 stories are about 2 ancient races that fight each other in a doctorine war about how to deal with the lesser races, the Khe-za/korh-ar, the Vorlon/shadow.
2,the Kher-za/vorlon have green ships, the Korh-ar/shadow have black ships.
3.Hyperspace is exactely similar in both stories..
