Someone else here likes Spidweb games too?
Generforges also have better plot than I've seen in any other game I've ever played (at least in my opinion).

I've got a lower than quality system too, DJ, and I still find tons of games to play. Starcraft, Diablo II LOD, Quake, Warpath (not for everyone, though), Red Alert II, TONS of the Megaman series and quite a few others, with relatively low memory and a crappy, generic video card. Also, no offense here, but if you are sick of the game, no one is holding you here, y'know...

I love being a clone. Everything I do bad gets blamed on the real me!

Yes, Geneforge is very nice, though GF2 is even better. Great plot, unique mechanics (to those who haven't played, the game revolves around "summoning"), and your decisions actually affect the outcome. However, although the Geneforge games have an excellent plot, sc2's is even better IMO - and I really mean that, I'm not just saying it because I'm on an sc2 forum. I'm looking forward to Blades of Avernum a lot.
Oh, and Jiffa, if you like turn-based strategy and/or RPGs, you should get Age of Wonders 2: Shadow Magic. That game is awesome. It should run on your computer, cause it runs on my brother's dinky laptop, which is about as weak (no offense) as your computer, probably worse.
Finally Jiffa, I've watched forums die in agony before, and this one is not dying. It's going slowly, but it's stable and still alive.
