System hangs every time i enter a galaxy

I have played few days now (actually i played this fantastic game about ten year ago also  Wink ).
At start there were few bugs that didn't that much annoy me. But now whatever i do, every time i enter a galaxy (or is it a system?..for example Alpha tucanae) the system hangs, and i can't do anything about it. it doesn't matter what saved game i load or what galaxy i enter.. so basically i can't play anymore  Cry

Any help is apreciated.

Ps. what are the names of save files? ..so i could copy them somewhere and re-install the whole game before this issue is sorted.

This is probably the bug related to Auto-Pilot. While you have auto-pilot on, and you enter a system, it (probably) crashes. And yes, it is a system.

I've been having the same problem. And it must be a bug in the auto-pilot, because when I enter a system with a-pilot on, the game always crashes. When I fly manually, it hasn't crashed even once. (sorry my bad english).

This bug is fixed in sun's CVS and later.

I downloaded the v0.12 for Windows and the game hardly crashed thereafter.
