--addon Command Not Working?

    I can't get the --addon <addon> command to work with any add-on I've unZIPped into the /addons sub-directory.(In this case, I'm trying to get the Ur-Quan Masters Remix, Pack I to work.)  I'm trying to run the game from a shortcut icon in Windows 98SE which has this as its Command Line:

"D:\Program Files\The Ur-Quan Masters\uqm.exe" -o -q high --menu pc --addon uqmremix

    Am I doing something wrong?

Yes. Don't unzip the addon package; just put it in a directory called "uqmremix" in the content/packages/addons subdirectory.
