Take your flamewars into private if you want, not to this board. You have been warned.

Yes, that was your warning. No Flame War doesn't mean not in General Discussion, it means not at these UQM boards.

EDIT: to make this constructive, I now dedicate this bellicose thread to PILLOW FIGHTS!

/me ducks the hundreds of incoming pillows, then remembers about his PLIED and uses one to block the rest

Sure, why not? I'll step up to the bar. My complaint is:

"Lukipela is a silly monkey!"

And Mr. Jiffa, you must learn to stop holding grudges against people over such petty things. I would say more on this subject, but you've made it abundantly clear that you don't listen to logic. And pretty soon Lukipela is going to assault me with pillows.

Sure you think that I don't listen to logic, no one here understands what I say(for example, Shiver ).

If you actually listen to logic, then why did you not comment on my statement about grudges?

Ah, but belief in logic can be crippling little one. Simple, blind rationalism can lead you to the brink of destruction. Because if you cannot feel as well as think, then how can you live? Your existence becomes meaningless, just another shade of gray. My padawan could explain this better, if he was here. He thinks more in the Androsynth way than I do.

And even if you operate by logic, you have still demonstrated the greatest weakness of it:

*Smacks Sage with a paritcualry heavy pillow, entitled "Impending Doom". As he falls backwards onto the bar, a hundred pillows fall from the sky, wrapping him up in their soft crushing embrace against the bar desk. As he weakly struggles, uselessly flailing aginst the warm heavy blanket of pillowness, his mind barely registers the words whispered in his ear.

Logic does not put the fear of God in you. I do.

I know the difference between logic and reason, and I use either or both when situation dictates. I suppose I messed up and forgot to mention reason in that comment, but I'm only human, after all.

Discarding logic and/or reason can be a fun exercise, anyhow. So I drop them occasionally, in favor of silliness. Things are much more entertaining that way.

And, you can't put the fear of God into me when there's no reasonable or rational argument of the existence of said God. I'd elaborate on this further, but doing so might ostrasize me from those opposed to this way of thinking. I don't really care what you believe in. It's who you are I care about.

Plus, it's really hard to fear pillows, even that many. So there.

And now...

Amidst the rubble of pillows the Starbase Café had become, Sage unearths a strange, glowing artifact. This spherical cushion was obviously of Precursor design! But why would the Precursors bother making such a pillow? No matter. Lobbing the artifact at Lukipela, it connects to his head and sends him to the ground, unconscious. Sage catches the pillow on the rebound.

"Whoa."

EDIT: Sorry if I seemed pissy through this post. I just got through arguing with a roommate because he was too stubborn to cover up the foul stench of burned eggs that he caused. And I have a room right next to the kitchen.

Dont worry my egghating friend. It takes a lot to piss me off, and forum fights dont phase me very much.

If you wish to, by all means make a thread about it. Thats what we have a starbase cafe for. And I used fear of God more as a lingual shortcut rather than implying that you fear the entity currently being held responsible for creating the world in seven days.

<As he falls to the ground, Lukipelas forehead begins to shine with a dull golden light. Whilst Sage catches the now powerless precursor pillow, Lukipelas body spasms, shaking uncontrollably on the floor.

And then, he rises. But he is a changed being. His eyse are no longer cool blue pools, as they once were. Instead, they are shimmering gold, yellow light flooding out of them as if they were a couple of headlights. As these focus on Sage, he freezes like a defensless deer, caught in the beams of a juggernaut.>

Nice throw. You certainly gave me sometyhing to think about. No let me show you what precursor pillow potential is all about.

<And suddenly the rustling sound of pillows advanicng fills the air of the cafe.>

NECRO looks at irridescent form of Lukipela.
Luki, what topic was it you said I should reduce DJ's ignorance upon?
He looks around, perusing the situation with steely eyes.
Hmmm... Well, trust no one except myself, and there's plenty of me to go around!
He pushes a button, and his clone army marches in behind him, all brandishing pillows. He pulls out his own pillow.
As for DJ, he already knows about the fear of God; me, myself, and 9,998 I's instilled that into him on another thread.
As for the rest of you...who wants to feel the fear next?
*evil grin*

Glowing eerily, Lukipela opens his mouth and speaks. the voice that comes out sounds like nothing the onlookers have ever heard. It chimes, and vague echoes can be heard, as if a thousand voices were speaking, yet all in the same place, at the same time and thorugh the same mouth.

Your army has grown strong. I am impressed young *Smell* controller. And yet, you use your forces for evil. You grin in an evil way. And I can see the darkness, eating away at your young, pure heart. Renounce your army, for they make you less. Every one born thakes yet another piece of your soul. Turn back, before it is too late.

Fear leads to hatred. And yadda yadda yadda, you know the drill.
