The Ur-Quan Masters Discussion Forum   The Ur-Quan Masters Re-Release   Technical Issues (Moderator: Death 999)   Audio voice problem « previous next » Pages: [1] Author Topic: Audio voice problem  (Read 2521 times) Haplo Guest Audio voice problem « on: December 04, 2002, 01:41:52 pm » Hey.  Most of the sound is working fine, for instance, the in game music is fine, and so are the sound effects.  However, the voice aren't working.  I keep getting errors like: SpliceTrack(): loading comm/comandr/coman003.ogg SpliceTrack(): Mix_LoadWAV failed for comm/comandr/coman003.ogg: Unrecognized file type (not VOC) And no voice. I am running linux 2.4.20 and most of my music is ogg so it can't be that I'm missing some vorbis library. Any idea what my problem is? Logged davey! hathorn Guest Re: Audio voice problem « Reply #1 on: December 05, 2002, 01:12:11 am » I have the exact same problem, on Linux 2.4.18.  I noticed that the install script detected the ogg libraries, it just seems like the game isn't using them after compile...
