Since we dont have rights for the 3DO videos, it would be awesome if a team could get together and remake the 3D0 videos for use in UQM.
The original 3DO videos werent the best, but they do add a certain cinemetic feel to the game, and convey the plot.
Does anyone here have the dedication or skill to take part in such a project?

heck, I thought the PC "films" had a cinematic feel and conveyed the plot.

I have the dedication, but not the skill. I downloaded Blender to see what I could do, and the answer was, to my dismay, "not much at all".
Fortunately, I think it's a fascinating piece of software, and it could be the start of an interesting hobby for me. I've got plans to buy the new manual when it ships (target date is later this month) and see where that takes me, hopefully it'll be alot of fun.

Gak, people. Search function! It's been discussed before, I promise you.
The short answer to your question is, "No."
The long answer is, "If there were people with the skill and dedication that you speak of, don't you think we'd already have what you 'suggested'?"
The even longer answer is, "Why don't you do it and lead the way, oh stalwart suggester-of-things? Because you have no skill or dedication? They why did you open your pie-hole?"
Besides, as has already been mentioned, the original PC ones weren't so bad (I actually like them) and they are available for the dev team to use. Infact, they're already in the data files for the game, they just need to write a system for accessing them.
Man, Luk is right. I have been a bit peevish lately.
