There's a new game comming up early Feb called wrath unleashed. It is a combination stragety/action combat game in the vein of Archon. One of my favorate aspects of StarControl 1 was the strategy/action combination, which borrowed from Archon. When TFB released Unholy War I bought a copy in support. Bought it, played it, and liked it, gosh darn it. Unfortunately my vote was wasted since it seems no one else bought it.
So this time I'm petitioning. This is a deviance from the FPS/RTS/RPG/MMORPG genre's that are so popular today. We need to encourage this sort of deviance. And how do we encourage it? Buy a copy. If Lucas Arts sees this sort of game get a show of support, they may do it again, and we may be creating a new, trendy genre. The TBSAC game (Turn Based Stragety/Action Combat). That's a bit long. Gonna need to work on this.
The game's by Lucas arts, so the chances of it sucking are lowered a bit. I really hope this game's good and if you are in a position to buy it, please do so. Viva la TBSAC!

To bad they didn't make a PC port. Given that most strategy games for consoles die a horrible death, I'd bet that this one does too.

It doesn't look like it. Sometimes a game will be released on console first, then PC later, to give the honest people a headstart on the pirates out there, but this one doesn't look to have that in the plan.
If we all e-mail lucas arts tho, they might consider it.

It is hard to copy (pirate) console games. it is easy to copy (pirate) PC games. Therefore, the game makers put the game out on console earlier so that people who actually like to pay for their games (the honest people) will do so, and get the benefit before those who do not like to do so (the pirates) can rip it.
Therefore, those who will pay get a premium -- being able to play it earlier.
